Job Description

Summary:

The Business Development Manager is responsible for developing and executing strategies to grow the firm's client base and revenue. This includes identifying new market opportunities, developing relationships with key decision-makers, and closing deals. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in business development, a strong understanding of the financial services industry, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a business development plan that aligns with the firm's overall growth strategy
  • Identify new market opportunities and develop strategies to target them
  • Build relationships with key decision-makers at potential client organizations
  • Present the firm's products and services to potential clients and close deals
  • Manage a pipeline of active opportunities and track progress towards sales goals
  • Work closely with the sales team to ensure that all clients are properly serviced
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and developments
  • Represent the firm at industry events and conferences

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field
  • 3+ years of experience in business development, preferably in the financial services industry
  • Strong understanding of the financial markets and products
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proven track record of closing deals
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong work ethic and drive
