Job Description

Responsibilities: 

Trade Settlement: Work closely with brokers, custodians, and fund administrators to ensure timely and accurate settlement of trades. Monitor trade confirmations, resolve any discrepancies, and follow up on failed trades. Maintain proper records of trade settlements and reconciliation. 

Accounting and Reconciliation 

Rebalancing and Cash Management

Post receipt and payment entries and reconcile the bank accounts/ PMS pool account. Reconcile Demat and Mutual fund unit balances with the book. Give effect to various corporate actions.. Ensure accurate cash projections, timely fund transfers, and efficient allocation of funds across client portfolios. 

Performance Reporting: Generate and distribute performance reports to clients, providing accurate and detailed information on portfolio performance, allocation, and transaction history. Coordinate with the portfolio management team to gather necessary data and ensure report accuracy. 

Compliance and Risk Management:. Assist in conducting periodic compliance reviews, identifying any gaps, and implementing corrective measures. Monitor operational risk factors and contribute to risk management efforts. 

Data Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date client and portfolio data in the system. Perform regular data validation and reconciliation to ensure data integrity. Collaborate with the technology team to enhance data management processes and systems. 

Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline and automate operational processes to improve efficiency and reduce errors. Propose and implement process enhancements, leveraging technology and best practices. 

Relationship Management: Collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders, including portfolio managers, sales, and compliance teams, to ensure smooth operations and client satisfaction. Provide timely and accurate responses to inquiries from internal and external stakeholders.
