Job Description
Job Summary:
The Relationship Manager (RM) for the Mass Affluent Segment is responsible for providing personalized financial advice and services to clients in the mass affluent category. This role is focused on building and managing long-term relationships with clients, understanding their financial needs, and offering tailored wealth management solutions to help clients achieve their financial goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Client Relationship Management:
- Build, manage, and deepen relationships with mass affluent clients (clients with investable assets ranging from 25 L to 75 L)
- Regularly meet clients to assess their financial objectives and provide advice on investment strategies, retirement planning.
- Develop personalized wealth management plans based on individual client goals, risk tolerance, keeping in mind asset allocation framework.
- Ensure clients are educated on financial products and services and guide them in making informed decisions.
- Client Portfolio & Asset Management:
- Oversee and review client portfolios regularly to ensure alignment with their financial goals and market conditions.
- Offer periodic updates on portfolio performance and make necessary adjustments to the investment strategies.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and internal policies while managing client portfolios.
- Client Retention & Service Excellence:
- Provide exceptional customer service and address client concerns promptly.
- Ensure high levels of client satisfaction by maintaining consistent communication and delivering on commitments.
- Follow up with clients regularly to ensure their changing needs are met and provide proactive solutions.
- Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field along with Relevant certifications like NISM V-A Certification.
- Experience:
- 3-5 years of experience in wealth management, financial advisory, or private banking, with a focus on the mass affluent segment.
- Strong understanding of investment strategies, financial planning, and wealth management products.
- Experience with client relationship management and a proven track record of managing and growing a client base.
- Skills & Competencies:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with clients.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple clients and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Deep knowledge of financial products and services, including investments, insurance, estate planning, and retirement solutions.
- High level of professionalism and discretion when dealing with sensitive client information.
