Job Description

Position: Wealth Relationship Manager

Location: Cochin, India

Industry: Wealth Management

Experience: 1-2 yrs preferred

Education: Bachelor’s / Master’s Degree (preferably in Finance, Commerce, or Business Administration)

Certifications: NISM Series V-A (Mutual Funds), Series X-A, and Series X-B certifications mandatory

Language Requirements: Proficiency in Malayalam and English

Role Overview We are looking for an experienced and proactive Wealth Relationship Manager to join our wealth management team in Cochin. The ideal candidate will focus on acquiring and managing high-value clients, providing tailored financial solutions, and driving business growth. The candidate must have strong client acquisition skills, a proven track record in wealth management, and mandatory NISM certifications. Local market knowledge and fluency in Malayalam are essential.

Key Responsibilities

1. Client Acquisition:

o Identify, prospect, and onboard potential investors who would benefit from excellent investment research and advisory.

o Leverage local networks and market knowledge to generate leads.

o Conduct presentations and financial planning discussions to attract potential clients.

2. Relationship Management:

o Build and nurture long-term relationships with clients to enhance satisfaction and loyalty.

o Regularly review client portfolios to ensure alignment with their financial goals and market conditions.

o Proactively address client needs, offering value-added services and solutions.

3. Wealth Management Services: o Provide clients with personalized investment advice and wealth management strategies as per central recommendations

o Cross-sell mutual funds, PMS and other financial products as per client requirements.

o Educate clients about financial tools, market trends, and regulatory updates.

4. Regulatory Compliance: o Ensure all client interactions and transactions adhere to regulatory guidelines.

o Maintain up-to-date knowledge of NISM certifications and compliance requirements.

5. Team Collaboration: o Work closely with service relationship managers, research advisors, and operational teams to deliver seamless client experiences.

o Contribute to team growth by sharing insights and best practices.

Qualifications and Requirements

1. Education: o Bachelor’s/ Master’s degree in Finance, Commerce, Business Administration, or a related field.

2. Certifications: o Mandatory NISM certifications: Series V-A (Mutual Funds), Series X-A, and Series X-B.

3. Experience: o 1-2 years of experience in wealth management, financial services, or client acquisition roles preferred.

4. Skills and Competencies: o Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

o Strong analytical and financial planning capabilities.

o Proficiency in Malayalam and English.

o Familiarity with wealth management tools and CRM software is an advantage.
