Overview:

Scripbox is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Channel Development Manager to lead and enhance the growth trajectory of the Relationship Manager (RM) channel. The role is pivotal in ensuring the efficient functioning of this channel while driving operational excellence, training, and client satisfaction. The incumbent will play a key role in equipping RMs with the tools, processes, and insights they need to deliver exceptional service to our customers while contributing to the channel’s overall growth strategy. This position is based in Bangalore and reports directly to the Managing Partner.


    Job Description

    Key Responsibilities:

    1. Channel Development and Growth:

    • Develop strategies to strengthen the RM channel, focusing on scaling operations, improving productivity, and enhancing client acquisition and retention.
    • Collaborate with the Managing Partner to identify growth opportunities and implement initiatives to capture these opportunities effectively.
    • Monitor and evaluate the performance of the RM channel, ensuring alignment with the company’s overall goals and growth agenda.

    2. Tools and Infrastructure Development:

    • Design and develop digital tools and resources to empower RMs to deliver outstanding customer experiences.
    • Work closely with technology and operations teams to create intuitive and efficient systems that streamline RM workflows.
    • Ensure these tools are updated and aligned with evolving customer needs and market dynamics.

    3. Training and Development:

    • Organize regular training programs for RMs to enhance their understanding of financial products, digital tools, and client engagement techniques.
    • Develop training materials and sessions tailored to various levels of RM expertise, fostering a culture of continuous learning.
    • Incorporate feedback from RMs to refine and optimize training content and delivery.

    4. Operational Excellence and Process Management:

    • Create comprehensive process notes, operations manuals, and support documentation for the RM channel.
    • Establish and maintain robust workflows to ensure operational efficiency and compliance with industry standards.
    • Deliver high-quality presentations, reports, and materials to support channel initiatives and stakeholder communication.

    5. MIS Design and Monitoring:

    • Develop and implement a robust Management Information System (MIS) to track channel performance metrics, identify trends, and provide actionable insights.
    • Regularly monitor and share insights from the MIS to drive data-driven decision-making and strategy refinement.

    6. Client Satisfaction and Feedback Mechanisms:

    • Design and implement systems to monitor and enhance client satisfaction within the RM channel.
    • Collect and analyze customer feedback, identifying areas of improvement and ensuring timely resolution of concerns.
    • Build initiatives to deepen client relationships and enhance the overall customer experience.

    7. Collaboration and Stakeholder Management:

    • Act as a bridge between the RM channel and other internal departments, ensuring seamless collaboration and information flow.
    • Assist the Managing Partner in executing strategic projects, preparing reports, and monitoring progress across various initiatives.
    • Foster a culture of teamwork and shared goals within the RM channel.

    Qualifications and Experience:

    Education:

    • A Master’s degree in Finance or a related field, with a strong academic background and a research-oriented mindset.

    Experience:

    • Extensive experience in mutual fund operations, sales, and processes.
    • A deep understanding of the financial markets, particularly mutual funds and related savings products.
    • Familiarity with the digital infrastructure in the financial services industry, including CRM tools, MIS systems, and digital sales platforms.
