Job Title: Business Development Manager

Location: Bangalore

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager / Associate Vice President to join our dynamic team in Bangalore. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record in client acquisition, relationship management across wealth management and portfolio management services. This role requires a willingness to travel as needed and a commitment to driving business growth through strategic sales initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Good understanding of financial markets, financial services and investment products
  • Proven sales experience of 5-7 years in in wealth management and portfolio management services.
  • Demonstrable ability to communicate, present, and influence key stakeholders.
  • Experience in client acquisition and managing a successful sales portfolio.
  • Willingness to travel as required for business purposes
  • Strong business sense and industry expertise.
  • Excellent mentoring, coaching, and people management skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a business development plan that aligns with the firm's overall growth strategy
  • Identify new market opportunities and develop strategies to target them
  • Build relationships with potential clients
  • Present the firm's products and services to potential clients and close deals
  • Manage a pipeline of active opportunities and track progress towards sales goals
  • Work closely with the sales team to ensure that all clients are properly serviced
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and developments
  • Represent the firm at industry events and conferences

Education:

  • Master’s degree in Business Administration, Sales, or a related field.
